Business Climate

Some cities just rely on advocating their economic advantages. We like to support ours with evidence.

Local Companies

There’s a reason why more than 700 technology-based businesses have made their home in Alpharetta, and it’s not just the nice houses and great weather. Our fiber-optic network is the most extensive and redundant in the Southeast, and we work closely with state and regional economic development agencies to provide tax credits and incentives to complement any brand of business. Some of the biggest and most recognized names in the tech industry are thriving here in Alpharetta. And with 25 million square feet of office space, there’s plenty of room in the neighborhood for your next expansion.

We could talk about Alpharetta’s exceptional business climate all day long, but nothing speaks to our success quite like our track record. Here are just a few names we’re proud to work with:

Local Government

It’s one thing to roll out the welcome mat for new businesses; it’s something altogether rare for a local government to provide constant communication and full support for its economic catalysts. In 2012 we worked with the local technology companies to create Tech Alpharetta. We further collaborated with our technology and academic communities to help bring Gwinnett Tech to Alpharetta. In 2014, we opened a brand new City Hall to help meet growing needs. And now we’re working on revitalizing the North Point corridor and connecting destination points around Alpharetta with the Alpha Loop. Whether you’re searching for tax credits and business incentives, building a team of qualified employees, or expanding your enterprise in new directions, we’re more than just here to help—we actually want to help.

Tax Credits and Incentives

The City of Alpharetta and the State of Georgia offer several tax credits, grants, fee reductions, and other forms of financial assistance for businesses big and small. Learn more about our economic incentives and see what we can do to help your business:
